Ministries & Outreach
We strive to follow Jesus' teachings to love others as ourselves. In doing so, we serve our neighbors through hands-on ministry — feeding the hungry, clothing those in need, and caring for one another.
"For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me..."
Matthew 25:35–36
Our Programs
Feed My Sheep
Every third Thursday, our volunteers prepare homemade dinners and distribute them to the community in a drive-through setting — so families can receive a warm, home-cooked meal and enjoy it together at home. This ministry is a direct expression of our calling to feed the hungry.
Clothe My Sheep
On the last Saturday of each month, we open our doors for a free gently used clothing distribution. Items are available for everyone — from babies through adults. No cost, no strings attached. Just neighbors helping neighbors.
Women in Faith
Women in Faith is open to all women, whether or not you are a member of Lodi UMC. This group focuses on active ministry — collecting items for a local food pantry, partnering with local and continental relief agencies, and delivering care to shut-ins and others in need throughout our community.
AA Meeting
Lodi UMC hosts a weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meeting every Wednesday evening at 8:00 PM. Our building is a safe, welcoming space for all who are on the journey toward recovery. All are welcome.
Family Ministries Night
A monthly gathering for families with a different theme each time — fun, faith, and community all in one evening. Whether you have little ones or teenagers, there is a place for your family here. Everyone is family here!
Get Involved
All of our outreach programs depend on the generosity and time of volunteers. Whether you can cook a meal, sort clothing, or simply show up — there is a place for you here. Reach out to learn how you can serve.
